What is a Visitor Visa?

This visa is appropriate for nurses who:
- Are self-sponsored or supported by family/friends
- Are not yet eligible for a UK Skilled Worker Visa
- Are travelling solely to complete their OSCE
Visa Validity
- The Standard Visitor Visa is generally valid for 6 months.
- It allows a single entry or multiple entries (based on your application).
- You must leave the UK before the visa expires.
Key Documents You’ll Need
To apply for your visitor visa, prepare the following:
- NMC Decision Letter confirming your eligibility to take the OSCE
- Proof of OSCE Booking from the designated test centre
- Letter of Acceptance from Mentor Merlin confirming your enrolment in OSCE training
- Proof of Financial Support (bank statements, sponsor letter, or payslips)
- Proof of Accommodation in the UK during your stay
- Valid Passport with at least 6 months of validity

- Book a biometric appointment at your nearest visa centre
